• Abstract: ≤250 words, unreferenced, summarizing objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.

• Main Text:Should generally follow the IMRAD structure:
  • Introduction: Background, objectives, and rationale.
  • Materials and Methods: Detailed enough for reproducibility; ethical approvals must be stated.
  • Results: Clear and logically presented.
  • Discussion: Interpretation, limitations, and significance.
  • Conclusions: Concise summary of major findings.

Authors must state data availability in a separate section. Datasets, code, and materials should be deposited in recognized repositories where possible, with links included in the article.

Science & Society Insights publishes all articles under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right of first publication.

The Management of the Science & Society Insights (SASI) strongly believes on Open Access Policy, therefore, after publication, all contents are freely available to everybody without any cost/permission. However, each accepted manuscript is liable for following APCs with effect from January 01, 2026:

Peer review is central to the mission of Science & Society Insights. We rely on reviewers to ensure the quality, integrity, and relevance of published research.

Reviewers are asked to:

• Provide an objective, constructive, and timely evaluation.
• Assess the novelty, methodological rigor, clarity, and significance of the manuscript.
• Identify ethical issues, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, animal/human welfare concerns, and conflicts of interest.
• Suggest specific improvements to strengthen the manuscript.
• Maintain strict confidentiality—manuscripts must not be shared or discussed with others without editor approval.

Reviewers should consider:

• Originality: Does the work provide new insights?
• Scientific rigor: Are the methods robust, reproducible, and appropriate?
• Clarity: Is the writing clear, well-structured, and supported by figures/tables?
• Relevance: Does the research fit the scope of biological, agricultural, veterinary, medical, basic, or social sciences?

• All manuscripts are confidential documents.
• Information obtained through peer review must not be used for personal advantage or shared with third parties.

Reviewers must decline invitations if they have competing interests (financial, professional, or personal) that could bias their judgment.

• Reviews are typically expected within 2–3 weeks of invitation.
• Extensions may be requested in advance.
• Recommendations should be one of the following: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Reviewers should:

• Report any concerns of plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, or ethical violations.
